There are two main gameplay types: Single Player and Versus. Ridge Racer 3D is an arcade racing game revolving around cars racing around high speed tracks while drifting. How to analyze application performance using JProfiler In short, you are connecting JProfiler GUI to a remote JProfiler agent that is profiling your application. To do this, you will need the IP address of the remote machine as well as the port where the JProfiler agent is running. And from your local JProfiler installation, you will connect to the JProfiler agent. In remote mode, you will start your JProfiler agent on a remote machine, probably the same machine where the application is running. In this mode, the application and JProfiler are running on the same machine. If you run in local mode, you have to choose data collection mode when starting the JProfiler. JProfiler offers two modes to start the profiling of an application. How to run JProfiler on a running application If you are doing performance analysis, this should be your default choice even with the drawback, it provides large data that is helpful to analyze performance. The advantage is the accuracy of the data. Instrumentation – This mode collects the entire data, but also heavy on performance affecting the application. The advantage of using this feature is that system performance is not affected when running JProfiler. This feature doesn’t provide method-level statistics. Sampling – This does not necessarily provide the accuracy of the collected data. There are two ways you can collect data while using JProfiler. I will not be covering that in this post. JProfiler also provides database analysis that can help in understanding if there are any performance issues with database queries. Therefore, it helps to fix memory leak issues. Allocations – You can analyze the objects on the heap, reference chains, and garbage collection.
It was the Kongregate community that sowed the seed for the GIF function. "Some people were making money, but I was like, 'No, I don't care about that, I'm making these for fun, for myself.' Which is weird now and sounds crazy even coming out of my mouth, because I'm all about the money now apparently. "I didn't want to make money making indie games," he recalls. Initially only available through Barth's website, players encouraged him to publish Codex through Kongregate, suggesting he might make more money that way. Like Opus Magnum, this revolved around building a machine that took elements and combined them together. For its origins, we need to go back to The Codex of Alchemical Engineering, a Flash game Barth and his colleagues developed before the studio had even formed - "the first hardcore Zach-like, if we can call it that," he says. Instead, Opus Magnum - actually the second Zachtronics title to include a GIF feature - is built upon learnings from past games. Before the game even had graphics, it had GIFs" "We built it into Opus Magnum from the beginning. "Can you imagine being that kind of game designer?" "No, that would be terrible," Barth laughs. Was it a goal of the studio to develop a title that was inherently GIFable? spoke to founder Zach Barth earlier this year about the art of making such complex puzzle games instantly understandable, aided by the use of GIFs. In fact, all of its titles have now been made free to educators. Opus Magnum is one of many games from developer Zachtronics rooted in scientific subjects, with a view to exploring subjects like chemistry, industry and (in this case) programming. In just one looping image, you instantly get a sense of what the game is about: creating machines that automatically assemble different components together into the required structure. The alchemical puzzler has something of a viral quality with fans sharing their solutions to each of its puzzles via social media and forums in the form of GIFs. It's likely that your first encounter with Opus Magnum was something like the image below. This was brought up even before releasing either console an really hurt the console industry, POed a lot of consumers including myself so I have not bought another one and invested more in my PC instead quite simply because there are more options and there are nothign but annoying children with mics spamming viop that never stfu with thier prepubescent crackling voices cause there sack hasn't dropped yet It is like fingernails on a chalkboard. The config was also dumbed down so that controllers would work but again you are limited to that controller and the number of configs you can do, not to mention limited int the types of moves you can do.Īs I said you initial issue is not Chiv but consoles ripping players off for not having backwards compatibility for games you already own. You are limited to the number of servers available, limited to the number of players you can have in a match and limited to the number of playable maps. So who is the real dummy?Ĭhiv for console was truly dumbed down. Not only that but you are not going through 2+ layers of paid internet access. Of the few games that are truly cross platform where both consoles and PCs can play on the same server, PC gamers dominate console players due to several factors usually better hardware and controller sensitivity and configuration. Actually you are very wrong and woefully ignorant of the differences between consoles and PC as well as the difference between console Chiv and PC chiv. But then again, people like you wouldn't understand anyway. It's just a fun game and I like it.Īlso, not griping, just asking. Rergardless, I'd be happy to pay for Chivalry again on the xbone. Plus backwards compatibility IS coming to the xbone later this year I believe, not like PSNow's bullcrap with "renting" games you should own. I don't play it seriously, and I'm perfectly content with a lower graphics quality. So you don't have friends playing CHIV? Make new ones. If you suck at it there are tons of video tutorials as well as veterans willing to teach if you hop in the right servers. Make it look pretty but keep it tardedly simple.Ĭhiv is not that simple or easy once you get to the higher skill levels and is best played on a beefy PC. It is really not that hard but they are all about the money grab while reducing the complexity of games down to spam button mashing. If you want to gripe at someone you should really gripe to Xbox and PlayStation for not including backwards compatibility for previous or older games. PC version is really the only way to play it. Cuz its placebo affect is far greater than any terpene can produce. An edible may say its indica but it has NO TERPENES and is just a distillate with gum around it. Not to mention the Placebos of modern day labeling in edibles. Why must the consumer only be limited to a guess and hearsay on a product? Why are we not questioning why some bud is better than the other? and why are boosted numbers STILL a normal occurance? But truly we must acknowledge that any label should display its process / grow. Labeling has always been predatory, for an example in recent times, the % scams. You just got a bit more Caryophyllene or limonene in your flower. Id still like to see the strain name and its genetics, but really, sativa vs indica debate is silly. Lets be honest too, there are barely any strains that are 100% indica or 100% sativa, IDK if we should even call these strains indica or sativa anymore. Theres always a blank spot or 2 on the pre-roll and flower bags where they could easily display this information. I personally believe the labeling system should include Terpenes & what they do. What should I do next? 2006 Saab 93 176k miles Recently last week in addition to the random misfire I also got another code for a cylinder 1 misfire. It flashes on every cold start now but I still can get in the car and it’s smooth as silk driving even 80 on the highway. Now it stays on all the time and comes back rapidly after being cleared out with an OBD2. Next I replaced the valve cover gasket to prevent oil from soiling the spark plugs. Still though it’d smooth out and run like a top. Now I could hear an audible misfire on start up when it was cold. The CEL went out for 5 days and came back again. Fast forward to this January I got the plugs and coils replaced. Put 7k more miles on with no issues and went on another 1200 mile road trip. The codes went away but I still had random misfire. Took it back to dealer and they cleaned off the sensors because they were soiled. Car still ran awesome and I was piling miles on. Got the oil pump done and still had the light with 3 other codes for an oxygen sensor and coolant temp sensor which weren’t there prior. Took it to a Chevy dealer and they said it was a failing oil pump that was soiling the spark plugs that caused the CEL but other than that the car was impeccable and would make it to 300k miles. But the car still ran great and I was piling miles on it. The check engine light came back a month later for P0300. A mechanic swapped out one coil and spark plug and the car was back to normal, it ran like a top. Still took the car on a 1200 mile road trip with no other problems and got 30 mpg. Last year it bucked and hesitated on acceleration, especially getting onto the highway. The code has always been P0300 random misfire. I’ve had a steady check engine light for a year and more recently a blinking CEL. My car is a 2006 Saab 9-3 with a GM ecotec derived 2.0 turbo 4 cyl. In some cases, the provider will supply subscribers with all three components in a single bundle. To get started with Usenet, you’ll require three things: You can also send files to different target locations and search for torrents from inside the app. With Vuze it’s easier to pick parts from torrent files, such as a large audio file containing different songs. Vuze, which was previously known as Azureus, offers far more detail than qBittorrent and Transmission, but still has a good macOS-friendly interface. It’s a shame because these things aside it’s a cracking little app. If you keep an eye out during the installation you can click Decline, but this is still enough of an annoyance for us to drop Vuze all the way from the top of the list to the bottom. It’s not really malware, but it’s still a wealth of unwanted crud all over your Mac. Just like uTorrent used to, it’s been known to set Yahoo to your default search engine and install unwelcome extensions. If uTorrent has got back into our favour, But if you very rarely download torrents, but want a torrent client just in case, this is a good choice. We think Transmission takes the simplicity thing a little too far, and qBittorrent offers a wider range of features (such as in-app search). You can get more information on files but this opens in a separate window.Ĭontroversy a while back, when hackers managed to infect a release of Transmission with malware, but the company moved quickly to replace that version with one that removed the offending software and have remained vigilant ever since. It needs very little configuration and is designed to be as minimalist as possible, so files just open in a small window displaying a single upload bar. Transmission is an extremely light BitTorrent client with a good range of features. Transmission is the most Mac-like, with a gorgeous interface and Apple-like simplicity – not that Apple would ever make a BitTorrent app it won’t even allow them on the App Store. Once it’s found them it will begin downloading the file. This accepts the file and logs on to peer-to-peer networks to hunt for other people sharing the file. To download a torrent you must download first a torrent client. It has something of a bad reputation because of its association with file-sharing sites like The Pirate Bay, but the technology is often used to share less controversial large files, such as software updates, Linux installation distributions, and open-source or copyright-free programs, movies, music and other large files. BitTorrent is an efficient way to share large files across multiple computers. One person has to seed the whole of the file in the first place for other to share it. These parts are then shared until you have the whole of the file, at which point you can continue sharing the file (known as seeding). You download a small file, called a torrent, and this enables you to connect to other computers with the same file and download parts of it from each other. BitTorrent enables people to share large files with each other using a peer-to-peer network, which means they share parts of the file with each other, rather than downloading the whole file from a central location (such as iTunes). The torrent client then downloads a larger file from the internet using a process known as BitTorrent. Torrents are small files that you can download and open in a torrent client. This analysis includes those who sought prenatal (n=1496) or postpartum care (n=482) during the pandemic. Two cross-sections of survey data were collected in July 2020 and January 2021. We used data from of an online sample of US women 18-45 seeking reproductive health care during COVID-19. To describe perceived quality of prenatal and postpartum telehealth visits during COVID-19 and to examine the association between telehealth quality during the pandemic and future telehealth preferences. In order for health systems and clinicians to provide person-centered pregnancy-related care via telehealth, it is critical to understand patients’ telehealth experiences and their preferences regarding use of telehealth moving forward. Telehealth for pregnancy-related care is likely to continue after the pandemic. Future research should focus on telehealth access, quality, and patients' preferences.Īt the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, telehealth practices for pregnancy-related care were rapidly implemented. We found inequities in contraceptive care access, less telehealth use for contraception visits in the South and Midwest, and lower telehealth quality among Hispanic/Latinx people during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hispanic/Latinx respondents and those in the Midwest had lower odds of high telehealth quality (aOR 0.37, aOR 0.58, respectively). Respondents from the Midwest and South had lower odds of telehealth vs in-person care (aOR 0.63, aOR 0.54, respectively). In adjusted analyses, lower odds of any visit was associated with Hispanic/Latinx and Mixed race/Other identity (aOR 0.59, aOR 0.36, respectively), the South, Midwest, Northeast (aOR 0.63, aOR 0.64, aOR 0.52, respectively), no insurance (aOR 0.63 ), greater COVID-19 hardship (aOR 0.52 ), and earlier pandemic timing (January 2021 vs July 2020 aOR 2.14 ). We used multivariable regression to examine relationships between age, racial/ethnic identity, educational attainment, income, insurance type, region, and COVID-19 related hardship, and ability to obtain a contraceptive appointment, telehealth vs in-person visits, and telehealth quality scores.Īmong 2,031 respondents who answered questions about contraception visits, 1,490 (73.4%) reported any visit, of which 530 (35.6%) were telehealth. We surveyed reproductive-age women about contraception visits during the COVID-19 pandemic via social media in July 2020 and January 2021. To examine demographic, socioeconomic, and regional differences in contraceptive access, differences between telehealth and in-person contraception visits, and telehealth quality in the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic. |
